2020 - A Crisis for Data Protection and Digital Rights?

In a webinar, Matthias C. Kettemann and international experts discuss how we can and should currently deal with data protection and privacy, as our lives are increasingly taking place in online spaces due to the pandemic.

How can we maintain and protect privacy in the best possible way? What can we learn from the current situation for the future? These and other questions will be discussed by:
  • Jennifer Brody (legislative manager at Access Now)
  • Matthias Kettemann (Senior Researcher at the HBI)
  • Hans Lückoff (Working Group on Human Rights & Technology, Amnesty International)
  • Tim-Philipp Schäfers (author and founder of internetwache.org)
The webinar is organized by the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. and the Internet Governance Forum Germany. You can register for the event here until 21 June 2020. The dial-in data for the webinar will be sent by e-mail.
When?
