The Online Barcamp Open Data on 21 September 2021 is about sharing opportunities, challenges and requirements for research with available data in the social sciences, education and economics. Take the opportunity to learn from others, share your knowledge, generate new insights together and network.
Barcamp? What is that anyway?
A barcamp is an open event format. This means that both the content and the schedule are open at the beginning. Barcamps thrive on interaction and the different expertise that participants bring to the table. In contrast to a classic conference, the programme is created directly with the participants on the day of the event.
Everyone has the opportunity to offer a session on a topic or question. In this way, the barcamp offers participants an open environment in which they can exchange ideas and learn from each other.

Who can participate?
Anyone interested in research with available data can participate, regardless of their level of experience and knowledge and regardless of their perspective, e.g. people who collect, analyse, protect, provide, curate or consult in these areas.
Those who wish to do so can contribute a session on opportunities, challenges, requirements or other topics in research with available data or actively participate in the sessions of others.
