At 4 p.m.,
Dr Hans-Ulrich Wagner will present a paper on "Battle of Memories: Actualization of the Past in Russian and Ukrainian Memes in the Context of the Russo-Ukrainian War" at the annual conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) together with
Dr Anna Litvinenko and
Anastasia Magazova (Freie Universität Berlin) and
Dr Barbara Christophe (Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute).
The annual meeting of the IAMCR 2023 will take place in Lyon from 9 to 13 July under the title "Inhabiting the Planet: Challenges for Media, Communication and Beyond" and online.
