digital bewegt

Together with other actors from civil society, science and trade unions, HBI researcher Katharina Mosene will speak at the online seminar "Digital bewegt: sozial-ökologische Perspektiven auf Mobilität, Logistik und Kommunikation [Digital Moves: Social-Ecological Perspectives on Mobility, Logistics and Communication]" on Friday, 22 January 2021.

During a two-day seminar, participants will analyse different perspectives on digital media. In particular, social media and the role of data and algorithms will be discussed from different perspectives. Katharina Mosene will report from her perspective on the question of discrimination in digital media and on feminist net politics.

The seminar is organised by Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie, an association from Leipzig that deals with socio-ecological issues.

In the current project "Digital bewegt: sozial-ökologische Perspektiven auf Mobilität, Logistik und Kommunikation [Digital Moves: Social-ecological Perspectives on Mobility, Logistics and Communication]”, the association is coming together with various actors to forge new alliances for social-ecological digitalisation. To this end, exchange seminars are held in which the participants analyse and discuss different perspectives. The results of the exchange seminars will be further developed into concrete ideas and formulated into political demands and measures within the framework of results workshops.
