On September 17th, 2020, the Frankfurt Colloquium starts with a series of lectures on topics related to empirical-normative Internet research. The forum is organized by
Matthias C. Kettemann and
Alexander Peukert.
The research association
"Normative Orders" at the Goethe University Frankfurt has been conducting Internet research for years from different but complementary perspectives in the fields of law, social sciences, politics and the humanities. The focus group Internet and Society in the research network "Normative Orders" at Goethe University bundles these initiatives and consolidates the network's role as a center of empirical-normative Internet research. The flagship event of the research focus is the traditional Frankfurt Colloquium for Internet Research, an interdisciplinary forum for all those who deal with topics from the broad field of network policy in Frankfurt and the surrounding area and are involved with the Internet in research or practice.
