The annual meeting of the science podcasters takes place for the 6th time now. This year it will be held from 28 to 30 September in cooperation with the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. At this event, the significance and the potential of podcasts in science communication will be discussed.

Johanna Sebauer will participate in the multi-day event and spend a whole weekend exchanging ideas with podcasters and other interested people on all topics related to podcasts, science, science journalism, science communication and the radio.
About the Event
The programme offers lectures by podcasters such as Tim Pritlove, radio journalists and scientists as well as numerous workshops. This year's meeting is a cooperation between the
Netzwerk der deutschsprachigen Wissenschaftspodcaster(innen) [Network of German-Speaking Science Podcasters], the
Austrian Academy of Sciences and the
ORF Radio Österreich 1 [Austrian Broadcasting Corporation]. The event will be organised by Melanie Bartos, host of the podcasts "Zeit für Wissenschaft [Time for Science]" at the University of Innsbruck and Lothar Bodingbauer, freelance radio journalist and podcaster, in coordination with Maren Beaufort (ÖAW) and Martin Bernhofer (Ö1).
