The HBI is involved in five projects at the RISC Hamburg section. More information is available
here.
At the annual conference, the eleven locations will present the spectrum of research perspectives and approaches to social cohesion available at the RISC. Its "sources, threats and ambivalences" are investigated in a multidisciplinary manner in the RISC's sub-projects, and much space is given to the presentation of the research approaches developed in the process in several panel sessions. In other formats, the different paradigmatic starting points for researching social cohesion will be discussed and framed by an introductory keynote on democratic cohesion. A panel on the topic of "Cohesion and War" will highlight (trans-)national aspects of cohesion in and through war in light of the war in the Ukraine.
