About the Internet Governance Forum
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is an international meeting held at the initiative of the United Nations, enabling a global discussion on the development of the Internet. It is a place for exchanging thoughts and experiences in the field of Internet governance. The 2021 IGF will bring together policy-makers, entrepreneurs, representatives of academia and non-governmental organisations. Thousands of people from all over the world will spend several days debating the opportunities and challenges posed by the Internet, as well as ways to fully exploit its potential. For the first time in history, Poland will host the global edition of the IGF organised by the UN. The event, organised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, will take place in Q4 2021 at the Katowice International Congress Centre.
