Kölner Kongress 2019: Erzählen. Sound. Öffentlichkeit

For the third time, Deutschlandfunk invites you to the Kölner Kongress. This year's theme focuses on the interaction between the media and the public. On 16 March, Dr. Hans-Ulrich Wagner will give a lecture on radio cultures in times of media change.

The lecture examines the consequences of media and social change for the current state of radio cultures in Germany. What are the expectations in times of different media environments and social changes?

For this purpose, he uses the model of a communicative figuration in order to avoid falling into a precipitous resignation or spreading inappropriate euphoria. From several perspectives, the positions of radio culture are approached, which, however, repeatedly revolve around one fundamental question: “What keeps it all together?”

The lecture will take place at 11 a.m. in conference room 2. Admission to the Kölner Kongress 2019 is free.
