Together with other experts,
Matthias C. Kettemann from the HBI discusses existing and future elements of the EU's digital diplomacy and foreign policy at
Diplo-WebDebate #46. In December 2020, the EU published its cybersecurity strategy. Some observers argue that this calls for the development of a more coherent approach to cyber diplomacy at the EU level. The event series "WebDebates" is organised by
DiploFoundation as part of the International Forum on Diplomatic Training (IFDT). You are cordially invited to share your thoughts and participate in the discussion.
Topic
Digital foreign policy is emerging as a key issue this year. Both Switzerland and Denmark recently presented their digital foreign policy strategies. However, it is also abundantly clear that the spectrum of relevant actors in digital foreign policy goes beyond states. In "Webdebate #46", the organizers want to take a closer look at existing and future elements of the EU's digital diplomacy and foreign policy.
