Where are political decisions made, where will elections be decided in future? In real life, in the street? Or on the data highway? What influence do social media have on political opinion formation? For many people, social media is just another way of communication, are in competition with print and TV or a personal talk. Others find confirmation for their opinion in filter bubbles or news, simply everywhere. Oh, how comfortable? Or dangerous?
We want to talk about these issues, the Bürgerschaft and the Landesmedienanstalt invite you.
Lisa Merten from the Hans-Bredow-Institut für Medienforschung at Universität Hamburg provides us with some input, experts and members of the Bürgerschafts will debate these issues in two panels, chaired by the directress of the Bremische Landesmedienanstalt Cornelia Holsten and the director of the Bürgerschaftskanzlei Hans-Joachim von Wachter.
