JIZ – Jugendinformationszentrum Hamburg (BSB) invite you to the symposium "Baustellen der Medienbildung in Hamburg [Areas in Need of Improvement within Media Education in Hamburg]." The specialized theme day will focus multi-perspectively on topics of media education in Hamburg. It will also define short and medium-term needs. Therefore
Dr. Claudia Lampert from the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) will give insights into the topic of digital health of kids and young people during a workshop at the symposium.
What is the workshop all about?
A self-determined and reflective approach to digital media implies that children and young people are able to switch off. Using media in an uncontrolled way leads to health problems for adolescents, but also for more and more adults. Media education is also necessary when it comes to obtaining valid health information, classifying digital support services and dealing consciously with one's own data.
