Video: RISC Hamburg Introduces Itself

In a 5-minute video, some researchers from the Hamburg section of the Research Institute Social Cohesion (RISC) introduce themselves and their projects.

Irene Broer, Aditya Kumar, Wiebke Loosen, Jan-Hinrik Schmidt, Wiebke Schoon and Rahel Winter also explain what they think about cohesion in our society and why they think the RISC is so important. The HBI is involved in five projects at the RISC section in Hamburg.

The video was created in connection with the event series "Cohesion is...", which stops at each of the eleven FGZ locations. On 25 September 2023, it will be Hamburg's turn. FGZ researcher Jan-Hinrik Schmidt will discuss with journalists Korinna Henning (NDR) and Bernd Ulrich (DIE ZEIT) whether and how the media can promote cohesion, or whether they can even harm it. The discussion will be moderated by Rebecca C. Schmidt (Managing Director of the RISC). Find more information here.
