Transfer Office “Media and Social Cohesion”

Transfer Office “Media and Social Cohesion”

The HBI contributes its perspective on media and social cohesion to the FGZ. Over the next years, it will address fundamental questions about the challenges that media change poses for social self-understanding, conflict resolution and the balance between diversity and cohesion.

The transfer office in the FGZ Hamburg is responsible for the overall coordination as well as the transfer activities of the different projects in Hamburg. It will design, organise and evaluate various transfer activities aimed primarily at the interested public. In addition, it will support the different projects in their particular transfer-related activities, which include stakeholder workshops, media round tables, or academic conferences.

The activities are closely coordinated with the central transfer activities of the FGZ. They address the three main areas of knowledge transfer in the FGZ, i.e. training, consulting and exchange.
