Abstract
Podcasts are becoming increasingly popular. In the field of entertainment, but also of information, the number of users is constantly increasing. Even "the law" has already discovered this format for itself - legal science, however, only recently and to a limited extent. Our contribution is to be understood as a first attempt at a legal discourse on the extent to which podcasts can be a helpful instrument for academic communication. We hope that the contribution will be compatible and initiate productive discussions and reflections. The need for a debate on legal academic communication has been shown not least by the Corona crisis.
