Abstract
When the Bundesrat refrained from invoking the Mediation Committee in the matter of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) at its last session, you probably heard the sigh of relief from the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) in Glinkastrasse all the way to the Bundesrat building on Leipziger Platz. Now nothing stands in the way of the new regulations coming into force on 01 May 2021 and the first major modernisation of the JuSchG since 2002 is taking its course.
